Cockpit and Systems Integration
Esterline CMC Electronics’ experience in cockpit integration spans a broad range of platforms including commercial air transport aircraft, military transports and helicopters. CMC has all the required engineering and program management tools including System Integration laboratories, leading-edge Human Factors expertise, and a comprehensive package of in-house training and other long-term logistical and support services. CMC cockpit systems are based on avionics products from the company’s own portfolio complemented by key building blocks from the CMC’s highly respected partners.
Enhanced Vision Systems (EVS)
CMC has developed a flexible approach to EVS that offers airlines, regionals, corporate and helicopter operators a wide variety of sensor and display choices. These systems are built to meet a range of performance requirements and budgets.
Electronic Flight Bag
The CMA 1100 Pilotview™ was designed for commercial, corporate and helicopter paperless cockpits. It incorporates an airport database, aircraft performance calculations, and weather and aeronautical data. Over 2000 CMC EFBs are in service, and CMC systems have been selected by a large number of regional and business jet OEMs for factory installation.
GPS Systems
These meet the aircraft ADS-B out mandate, provide LPV capability and meets emerging GBAS requirements.
CMC also manufactures FMS, GPS-WAAS and SATCOM antennas.

Aviation Mission Equipment
From aerial agricultural applications to today's advanced helicopter fire-fighting equipment, Simplex Manufacturing (SMC) is an industry leader serving hundreds of operators worldwide. Simplex guarantees quality workmanship, an uncompromising dedication to safety and dependability, and an emphasis on reliability and durability. The company has recently developed a unique new high-rise building fire suppression system that can be quickly installed in a number of helicopter types to support large metropolitan areas with their fight-fighting needs. Simplex has recently restructured its organization to meet AS9100 standards.
Simplex is in the process of investigating rapid-install Roll-on/Roll-off fire-fighting systems for military transports equipped with a rear loading ramp to satisfy their multi-mission roles.

BAE SYSTEMS Head Up Display and Helmet Display
The family is a new line of HUD and helmet display products developed by BAE Systems. These products use revolutionary, patented technology to move light using holographic waveguides. Tested in flight trials in the United States and United Kingdom, the technology offers a modular approach to giving pilots head-up/eyes-out capability. It combines mission-critical situational awareness with significant improvements in weight, cost, flexibility, simplicity, and optical performance.

Special Mission Aircraft modifications
IKHANA is an aircraft modification company based in Murrieta, CA supporting a wide variety of special missions aircraft (SMA) projects with a distinct focus in the DHC-6 Twin Otter series. The company’s Design-Build-Fly philosophy coupled with their broad range of capabilities, makes them uniquely positioned for supporting the modification of turboprop, business jet, and transport category aircraft. The professional staff includes in-house DER, DAR, and DMIR personnel and a team of over one hundred professional and highly skilled technicians and engineers. REFLEKTEK
Un-Powered Airport/Heliport Lighting System (UALS)
Reflektek’s unique system uses a highly reflective material to simulate a powered airport or heliport lighting system to improve viewability from the air. Pilots can clearly see the UALS reflecting the aircraft’s landing lights from 2 - 4 miles away. The markers can be altered to suit the higher approach angles of helicopter operations. UALS is ideally suited to the temporary landing requirements of military and helicopter EMS/police operators sometimes called upon to land in remote areas where projected lifetime of the site is short.

Inflight Warning Systems, Inc™ (dBA IWS Predictive Technologies™) was formed in 2002 specifically for the purpose of developing a line of bearing vibration monitors for use in commercial aircraft. Flight diversions resulting from smoke in cockpit and smoke in the cabin caused by air circulation fan bearing failure has become a significant factor in flight operations.
